Whale watching from June to the end of September

The feeling you get when one of the majestic whales surfaces in close proximity is really unbelievable. The sociable animals are as curious of us as we are of them and like to observe the tourists on board.

After a long journey, hundreds of humpback whales are get together at the coast of Ecuador to mate and birth their calves. The young ones are raised in the warm Pacific waters until they are strong enough to follow the herd back to Antarctica. Their greatest enemy is the orca.

With a little luck, the excursion boat will be accompanied by dolphins for part of its way.
